October 2: Daystar Night At The Movies - 5:30 p.m. View a showing of The Wizard of Oz at Canaltown Cinemas. Admission includes popcorn, soda and candy. All proceeds benefit Dasytar. Presented by Northwestern Mutual.
August 8: Samuel L. Stolt Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit Daystar. Ravenwood GOlf Course. $400 per foursome.
July 22 - August 20: A Magical Journey Thru Stages Summer Theater Camps. Performances of Seussical, Jr. Jungle Book, Kids and Godspell, Jr. Attendees are asked to bring items from Daystar's wish list (paper towels, alcohol wipes, postage stamps.)
July 21: Mommies for Miracles 4th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Daystar. Victor Hills Golf Course, Scramble. $150 per person/$500 per foursome.
June 4-5: Katie's Closet at Fairport Canal Days.
February 25: Rochester Automobile Dealers Association Sunshine Gala benefits Daystar.
February 3, 5pm: Daystar Parent Social Hour, with a special presentation on Special Needs Trusts.
January 29: Katie's Closet ReGrand Opening was a huge success! Please stop by our new store - Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings - more info. to follow. The new store, generously donated by Jay Birnbaum Company, is conveniently located in Perinton, on Route 31 across from the Tops at Perinton Square Mall and is located in the same plaza as Panera Bread. Special thanks to Perinton Pizza for donating delicious pizza for our volunteers and guests.
December 8: Daystar was fortunate to be part of Windsor Cottage's Year of Giving, which raised $1,000 for Daystar.
August 7-8: Katie's Closet was at the Park Ave Festival and hundreds of folks stopped by to shop from a huge selection of bracelets, necklaces, earrings and more. 100% of the proceeds benefited Daystar - which totaled $19,000!
July: Special thanks to the Bagel Bin for hosting a fundraiser for Daystar. Katie's Closet sold jewelry throughout the day. Bagel Bin also sells Evening Star Coffee Roaster's St. Pio blend - a portion of each sale is donated to Daystar.
